Event Systematic perspective
For a business, the important change is that software may progress a workflow rather than simply draft a response. That makes delegation design a management responsibility. An agent needs an objective, access limits, completion criteria and a clear point at which a human must intervene. A tool demonstration cannot supply those business decisions.
Consider an internal HR enquiry workflow. A pilot could classify a question and prepare a draft using approved policy material. Decisions affecting pay, employment status or an individual grievance require a different level of control. Begin with a contained process whose outcomes can be checked and whose mistakes can be corrected without affecting employees’ rights or entitlements.
Put it into practice
- Name the process owner and reviewer before configuring the agent.
- Start with restricted access and a test set of ordinary, ambiguous and out-of-scope requests.
- Record failures and escalation decisions so the team can improve the workflow deliberately.
