Event Systematic perspective
In corporate learning, the same underlying question is useful: does the technology help a person understand and act, or merely complete an exercise? A generated answer can hide uncertainty if the learner is never asked to explain it. Assessment should reveal reasoning, not only the finished artefact.
Ask participants to compare two plausible answers, identify the evidence needed to choose between them and explain their decision to a colleague. A facilitator can then correct misunderstandings and adjust the next task. This keeps the learning relationship active while allowing AI to support preparation and practice.
Put it into practice
- Include explanation and reflection in the assessment, alongside the final output.
- Give learners a clear way to challenge inaccurate material and obtain human support.
- Check that language, accessibility and device requirements do not exclude intended participants.
