Event Systematic perspective
A workplace learning programme needs named owners for content quality, learner support and assessment decisions. These responsibilities remain even when material is generated quickly or delivered through an adaptive tool. The programme should explain what information is collected and how the learner can get help.
For a multi-employer or sponsored cohort, agree those arrangements before enrolment. Clarify who approves the curriculum, who verifies claims about outcomes and who responds when a learner disputes an assessment. Transparent ownership makes the programme easier to improve and more credible to participants.
Put it into practice
- Assign responsibility for updating inaccurate or outdated learning content.
- Explain assessment criteria and provide a route for review.
- Use feedback from learners and employers to revise the programme, while keeping the stated outcomes realistic.
